The National Institute of Research and Development in Mechatronics and Measurement Technique (INCDMTM) is in the coordination of the Ministry of Research and Innovation and features as its main activity field both scientific (basic and applied) research and scientific development in the area of precision mechanics and mechatronics. Also, the work of INCDMTM is focused in developing and optimizing measurement techniques. The efforts of the researchers with INCDMTM aim at developing various mechatronic (conventional and unconventional) products and technologies. Moreover, as a National Institute, INCDMTM contributes to the elaboration of the strategy of development of the field, and to accomplishing the scientific and technological objectives established by the National Plan of Scientific Research, Development and Innovation (PNCDI) and by “Nucleu” Programme. Along with the accession to the European Union, the strategic objective of INCDMTM is to take part in as many strategic projects as possible and, subsequently, to be successful in as many as we can. Last, but not least, the activity of INCDMTM Bucharest is focused on a high efficiency quality management.
